This is a sobering thought for all to absorb given the desire for peace, and cooperation among the many diverse cultures of the world. Multi-culturalism doesn't appear to be making the world safer, but combined with the easy technology of the internet, and instance presence of media and propaganda, appear to be making the world a more dangerous place, not less dangerous. Every indication is that the 21st Century will be the most dangerous yet, not because of attitude but because of the ease of technology, the tolerance of violence and fraud, and the easy spreading of education that focuses upon specialized expertise, not global awareness and peaceful harmony. Militaries are no longer a luxury to exert extra pressure against world bullies, or anyone else today, but have become a necessity to maintain world order, and perhaps to prevent war outbreaks.
